THE COLLINGWOOD ARMS HOTEL, Cornhill On Tweed.
The Collingwood Arms takes its name from the local merchant family which owned it up until 1955.
There are strong ties with Northumberlands 19th Century naval hero, Vice Admiral Cuthbert Collingwood, who served under Nelson around the time the hotel was built, as a former coaching inn linking Edinburgh with the south, centuries of Borders visitors have followed the well-trodden path to its door.
In 2007, the Collingwood Arms Hotel received a 21st century makeover.
The Collingwood Arms Hotel offers 15 rooms, the ideal base for exploring the unrivalled landscapes and discovering the fascinating stories of the people and places of north Northumberland and the Scottish Borders, ideal for fishermen, walkers & golfers.
Many of our guests come to cast for a salmon from the mighty River Tweed, which passes only yards from our door. Others come to enjoy the magnificent Northumberland Coast, or the wilds of the Cheviot Hills.

CLIFFTOP DISCOVERY, Located At St Abbs In The Scottish Borders.
THE CLIFFTOP CONCEPTION
Landowners have a reputation for being fiercely protective of their property and their privacy.
However, moving with the times, six Berwickshire farmers have come together to form Clifftop Discovery Ltd.
In a unique experiment they have agreed to allow controlled public access to one of the most dramatic stretches of coastline in Great Britain through the introduction of guided, off-road, Land Rover tours.
The cliffs are not accessible by road and our Land Rover trail provides exclusive, guided, Safari-Style access to a hidden clifftop wilderness through six neighbouring coastal farms. Traversing rugged terrain, the trail offers an exhilarating and inspirational adventure from the comfort and security of a Land Rover.
